Good read,
Val and
John. What month were you visiting Fitzgerald NP etc? We were there April 2010 and would love to see it in the springtime.
To us, coasts seem high risk for camping - it tends to rain! We are not complaining about today's lovely rain in the ACT though!

Hi Megan and Kevin,
Glad you enjoyed the read. We were in Fitzgerald R in late September, though last year had been dry so there were not as many flowers as we had seen there previously.
Have to agree about WA coastal weather, it certainly has its trying moments, but does ensure that you have
places to yourself. That sounds very antisocial!
Lovely rain today, and we really needed it. Good weather for blog writing. Nearly finished our 2012 trip, then its on to the backlog.
Cheers,
Val.
